Is there a sunken continent in the Indian ocean? Home to ancient advanced beings?
The theory is that there used to be land connecting India and Madagascar. This theory was first thought up by Philip Sclater, a zoologist from the 1800’s. He found lemur fossils in India and in Madagascar, but none in the middle east. hence, the name “Lemuria”. These findings were then grown upon by a fella named Ernst Haekel. This dude put together the first map of “Lemuria” but instead called it “Paradise”. he believed that the cradle of civilization is actually on this sunken continent. He claims that the original seed of life came from this land mass and then traveled to places like Ethiopia, Etc.
According to theories, these “Lemurians” were advanced beings. They communicated telepathically, manifested things into this reality and even may have created the Atlanteans. So some say, that they are a “root race” of all humanity. Figures like Rudolf Steiner and Helena Blavatsky. These two figures are prominent esotericists and mystical researchers. Blavatsky actually claimed that the Lemurians had 4 arms, and were blue skinned hermaphrodites.
According to Steiner, the Lemurians did not speak a formal language but used their minds and intuition to perform everyday tasks. They didn’t plan out anything or think about minor situations. They just “did” stuff. Think more like a lucid dream or dream world. This could tie into another theory of a spirit realm, coexisting with our material realm at some point and gradually has been separated.
These beings supposedly valued knowledge and lived a mystical/magical lifestyle. Just existing and vibing.
There are actually stories in Hindu culture about a god who had a “ape army” and he commanded them to build a land bridge from India to Sri Lanka. Was this a story of Lemuria? Were the Lemurians just one type of race of humanoid that existed long ago? Did at some point we co-exist with different, more mythical creatures? This would change the way we look at life if we (humans) are not the only hyper-intelligent humanoid creature that has existed on earth. What do you think?
